For Bishop Cardeny's tomb, see NO04SW 1.09.
Within his cathedral, about 1420, Bishop Robert de Cardney (or Cardeny) founded and enclosed a chapel dedicated to St Ninian; he was interred in the chapel in 1436.

Field Visit (April 1989)
Cardney's tomb (NO04SW 1.09) is in the S aisle of the nave and his chapel would seem to have occupied the two eastern bays of this aisle, probably to the E of an altar dedicated to St Katherine.
Visited by RCAHMS (IMS) April 1989. Dunkeld Rentale 1915
