Archaeology Notes

NG62SW 69 6349 2241

Lying on the top of a prominent knoll which lies to the E of the tramway at 60m OD is a large circular enclosure which measures 11.4m in diameter over walls 1.1m thick. A substantial field dyke passes over the knoll just to the E of the enclosure.
