A homestead and a hut-platform lie a short distance apart on the NW bank of the Martinlee Sike. The homestead comprises an enclosure with a small attached house-platform. The enclosure is slightly scooped into the slope on the NW and measures 11.5m from NE to SW by 10.5m transversely within a stony bank spread to 1.9m in thickness and 0.4m in height with an opening in the S side and, attached to the E side, an oval platform, measuring 6m from E to W by 4.5m transversely by 0.3m in depth. The detached platform to the ENE (NT 6564 0794) is set into the slope to a depth of 0.3m on the NW and measures about 7.5m in diameter, providing a suitable site for a timber round-house.
