Jute Weaving factory for J&D Wilkie, 1869, by Robertson and Orchar, engineers, Dundee. A 1- and 2-storey factory rebuilt after fire in 1891 and with some later additions. The last jute weaving factory in Scotland switched to polypropylene in 2005, at which stage the finishing department still used five C19th calenders.
