Well preserved rig observed in two fields on S-facing slope of Harran Hill, running down to Chapel Farm cottage. There are the remains of mineworkings including possible bell pits cut into the rig.

A group of bell-pits and two drift mines overlie an extensive system of rig cultivation on the SE slopes of Harran Hill overlooking the mining monument in Lochore Country park. The cultivation remains are visible on vertical air photographs. (OS 77/168/311-13).
