The line of anti-tank blocks running E from the N end of Findhorn village is visible on RAF wartime air photographs (NLA 57, 5016-17, flown 21 February 1943). A double line of blocks follows a fence line for about 750m in ENE direction towards the coast at NJ 0457 6482 where they stop some 15m short of the high water mark. The blocks continue as a more erratic line from NJ 0467 6476 eastwards along the coast.
