Activities

Field Visit (1 October 1990)

NG26SW 16 2474 6096

A pen and a structure lie in steeply sloping rough ground about 100m N of a boundary bank on the SSW face of Ben Geary. The pen is a long narrow structure of orthostatic boulders up to 0.3m in height, enclosing an area 15.4m in length by 1.1m in breadth, built across the contour. It cannot readily be interpreted but it is similar to the enclosure attached to the hut-circle NG25NW 1.05.

About 15m to the NNW at NG 2473 6098 is a C-shaped bank of stone, 2.7m in diameter.
