Activities

Field Visit (25 July 1990)

NG35SW 47 3301 5225.

The footings of a building are situated on a terrace on the SE side of the road 100m NE of Lowerglen. Square-angled, and measuring about 17.9m by 2.7m internally, it appears to be the remains of a relatively recent open-fronted shed and is probably represented by the configuration of field-banks depicted on the 1st edition of the Ordnance Survey map at this location (Island of Skye &c., Inverness-shire, 1880, sheet xvi). (WAT90 1343)

Visited by RCAHMS (SPH) 25 July 1990.
