Activities

Field Visit (18 November 1990)

NG25NE 4.02 2952 5796.

This mound is situated on the E side of a tributary to the Allt Forse a' Bhreitheimh on the edge of dense afforestation; it measures 6.6m from E to W by 5.6m transversely and up to 0.8m in height and with an approximately central dimple. There may be a second cell on the E side of the mound, but it has been obscured by trees. Banks run up to the N and S sides of the mound, although their relationship to it is unclear. (WAT90 954)

Visited by RCAHMS (DCC) 18 November 1990.
