NC 24998 52316 – NC 25188 52157 In 2008 (DES 2008, 104), we assessed the potential impacts of water main

replacement from Achlyness to the A838. A watching brief was then carried out in April 2009 on the southern section of the pipeline between NC 24831 52507 and NC 25188 52157.

No features of archaeological significance were discovered and the development did not affect the remains of a turf bank at site 7.
