Built 1927.

(Undated) information in NMRS.

Partick Thistle Football Club ground is situated on the E side of Firhill Road and SW of the Firhill Basin.

The stadium has grandstands on three sides (N, W and E) with the old S terracing uncovered and out of use. The orginal, but modernised, main grandstand is on the W side with the other two of late 20th and early 21st century construction. To the N of the N stand the ground is overlooked by blocks of apartments in Firhill Court.

Part of the site of Firhill Park is shown on the 1st edition of the 25-inch OS map (Lanarkshire, 1857-1861) as a 'brick field', which by the 2nd edition of 1896 (ibid) has been removed. By the date of the Revision Edition of 1913 (ibid), a basic football ground is shown with a stand on the W side and no built up terracing. The Provisional Edition of 1932 shows that by that date the terracing had been added. Modernisation of the ground took place in the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
