Archaeology Notes

NC 216 311. Three circular shieling foundations on 400' contour west of Loch Airigh na Beinne (? significant name). Probably associated with the temporary sheltering of cattle in the Quinag corrie above.

T C Welsh 1970p.

No trace of shieling bothies. At the area indicated on a grassy terrace are traces of a wall and residual flood banks suggestive of temporary occupancy.

Visited by OS (NKB) 1 September 1980.
