Archaeology Notes

NC91NE 48 9511 1820.

At NC 9511 1820, on a N-facing slope in a sheltered position, a burnt mound, roughly circular and about 12.0m in diameter, but with a depression on the E side opening onto a stream. The mound is 1.3m high at the summit N of centre. The content of small burnt stones and blackened earth is exposed in soil erosion and rabbit scrapes.
