Archaeology Notes

NG52SE 16 5806 2382.

Below the lower crags of the W-facing slope of Beinn Dearg Mhor, at a height of 220m OD, and set amongst a scree slope of large boulders is a group of very rough boulder-built structures. Six of these structures lie in a compact group, a seventh lies upslope and 50m to the SE. All are of single cell type except the southernmost in the group which is a twin cell structure with a small open yard between the cells (marked 1. - 2. on plan).

R Miket 1990.
