KNIGHTSWOOD
Knightswood was the City Council's prize development, built to a very high standard on land they had acquired outside the old Royalty; a large low-density semi-detached cottage-type housing estate along the extended Great Western Road from 1923. They built a further scheme between 1937 and 1942.
