Archaeology Notes

NC85SE 23 8795 5125.

A shieling, 11m by 5.5.m by 1.5m high, set on a mound by a stream. It is a subrectangular structure, oriented N-S and covered with mossy grass. It has two large central depressions, as well as smaller ones, and stones are visible.
