Archaeology Notes

NC85SE 22 8795 5125.

A shieling, 12m by 5m by 2m high, raised on a mound beside a stream. It lies NE-SW with walls 0.75m wide, is subrectangular, subdivided, has no obvious entrance and is covered with mossy grass and bracken.
