OS 6" map (1898-1947)

A map in the British Museum, dated December 1590, marks "Redhall" with a tower symbol (BM Royal MS. tract addressed to Lord Burghley, AD 1590).

A Jeffrey 1864

The site of this castle or tower occupies a slight shelf in an arable field. There are no visible remains, however, and no further information was found locally.
