(Located at NY 278 694 and classified as Cairn). Situated in the back garden of a cottage on a slight rise above the flood plain of the river. It is not in a commanding position, but three other cairns (NY26NE 2 and NY26NE 3 and NY27SE 6) are visible. The cairn has been extensively robbed and unmeasurable; rubbish obscures much of the remains and trees are growing from the relatively part, which is 0.8m high.
