NY18SW 29 128 829.

NY 128 829. The fields between the Ne/BA burial site at Kirkburn (NY18SW 16) and the ?Rinyo-Clacton enclosure at Beckton (NY18SW 13) continue to yield worked flints. The most interesting of these is a flint petit-tranchet arrowhead, 1" long, Clark class B. In Dumfries Musuem.

A wide scatter of lithic material recovered over a nnumber of years, possibly denoting a prehistoric settlement.

The Dumfries Museum accession numbers for an arrowhead and several flint tools found at Kirkburn are DUMFM: 1965.46 and 1966.17 respectively.
