There is a stone-built dovecot, measuring 3.5 by 2.6m in the SW corner of the garden at the rear of the Queensberry Hotel. It appears to have been repaired in recent times and the roof and doors are of modern materials. Above the door a stone bears the initials 'W G E I' and the date 1690.
