(NY 1650 6557) Bruce's Acre (NAT)

OS 6" map (1945)

On the farm of Broom (NY16NE 58.01) there is a field called Bruce's Acres where it is said that Robert Bruce...sustained a severe repulse from the English. A quantity of human bones and several swords were lately found in a moss near the field where the battle is said to have been fought.
