Archaeology Notes

NC81SW 37 823 100.

Cill nam Brathair, the Church of the Brethren, is one of the seven churches of Strathbrora. The name is given as Kilnabraar in 1548, and is presumably the modern Kilbraur. (NC 823 100). Watson suggests that the Brethren of the dedication may be Peter and Andrew or James and John.

W J Watson 1926.
