Kirkmichael Parish Church [NAT]

OS (GIS) MasterMap, July 2009.

The church was recorded by the threatened buildings survey on 1st May 2007 prior to proposed alterations including the removal of the vestry chimney. The T plan church was built 1813-15 to the designs of John McCracken. The principal exterior feature is the birdcage bellcote on the N gable. The vestry eas added to the N in 1871. The interior was recast in the late 19th century including the pews but the original N gallery supported on cast iron columns was retained. The platform furnishings and pulpit appear to be early 20th century.
