Some 300m north west of the excavated area ?HU33SE 3! there is a small oval mound with a circular hollowed interior which lies on a flat part of the craggy heathland next to a small pond. The site is very poorly preserved and is most inconspicuous and difficult to locate. The mound is of earth and a few earthfast stones, measures c.6 by 5m and is c.0.4m high; the central hollow is c.2m in diameter.
