NX98SE 25 97 84.

A circle on Castlehill Farm, less than a quarter-mile from Duncow camp (NX98SE 5), consists of a circular area 100 feet in diameter surrounded by a bank 25 feet broad with an entrance on the east.

Not located; enquiries at Castlehill farm proved negative.

The area in question has been thoroughly perambulated, but no trace of a circle, as described above, has been found. (A E Truckell, Dumfries Museum).
