NX97SE 7 9989 7147.

(Name NX 9981 7146) Kelton Cove is a good natural rock-shelter where prehistoric pottery is reputed to have been found by Dr Gilchrist in the 1860's.

Information from A E Truckell, undated

NX 9989 7147. Kelton Cove consists of two recesses or caves in the face of a stretch of rock out-crop at the top of a steep NE-facing escarpment. The larger cave is c.5.0m across at the entrance, c.6.0m deep, and c.2.0m high. The caves are interconnected at the rear.
