Archaeology Notes

NX96SE 12 985 603 and 985 602.

A waterworn white patinated discoidal flint scraper, a patinated flint core, and a fragment of a 15th century vessel, all found at NX 985 603, near the mouth of Kirkbean Burn, are in Dumfries Museum.

Also in Dumfries Museum is a large mesolithic core scraper, found at NX 985 602.
