Archaeology Notes

NC80SE 36 870 025.

A bowl or lamp of buff sandstone, discoloured black on the outside, 4.7 ins in diameter and 2.5ins high, with a thick moulding at the rim is in Dunrobin Museum (Accession no X58).

A loose label indicates that it was found at Uppat (NC 870025), near'the gate leading to the Forest Road'.
