Ditch aligned due north-south with U-shaped terminal (cf NX97NW 23)

This length of ditch runs obliquely across steep sloping ground and then turns sharply to the E at its upper, N, end to form a right-angled corner. Its position is uncharacteristic of cursus monuments, which tend to be located on flat gravel terraces, and the ditch is probably best interpreted as part of a ditched field boundary.
