NX79SE 14 76 90.

Artifacts from Glencairn (Parish name : NX 7690)(for which no closer provenance is given) include a smoothing stone (in the NMAS - Acc No: AY 5); two axe-hammers (in Dumfries Museum - Acc Nos : 15/PSA/578A and 27/PSA/577A); two stone whorls, and a greenstone ball (formerly in Thronhill Museum, but transferred to Dumfries in 1965).

An unspecified number of whorls, querns and hammer stones from this parish were in the possession of Mr Corrie in 1910.
