NX74NW 42 73 48.

(NX 733 488) A group of 'rock scribings' were found in 1896 by Col. Franchlyn of Cargen Holm, near Dumfries, situated several hundred yds from NX74NW 40, and higher up among the moors. They were not found in 1965 and may possibly have worn off.
