At the end of a tree covered spur above a steep rock face is a probable palisaded homestead (cf. MacNaughtons Fort- NX87NE 3). It consists of an earth and-stone rampart encircling an area 20.0m E-W x 24.0m transversely above a flat bottomed rock-cut ditch 4.0m wide, with a counterscarp bank on its east side. The entrance is in the south. The interior is featureless.
