Archaeology Notes

NX64NW 12 6474 4927.

A group II MBA rapier 11 1/2" long was found in September 1957 at a depth of about 1.0m in the right bank of the Huskie Burn at NX 6474 4927 (A Smith, Borgue). It was donated to Kirkcudbright Museum by the finder (Accession No. 5092). (J M Coles 1965; 1966)
