Archaeology Notes

NX55NW 23 5282 5739.

NX 529575. There are twelve cup marks 3" deep and 3" apart, in a straight line, along which the block has split, on a prominent big block of stone lying 30 yds SE of the cup and ring marked stone described on NX55NW 21.

NX 52825739. A boulder measuring 2.0m by 1.8m and 1.0m deep with a large 'flake' broken off along a line of fourteen holes. These holes (3/4 ins diameter and 3 ins deep are drill holes. This boulder is situated NW of NX55NW 21 and not SE as stated by Morris.
