Neither Coles nor the RCAHMS could find any trace of this feature. It is described in 1850 as 'a circle of 7 granite standing stones, probable weight from 1-2 cwt. In the centre is a large irregular stone, about 2 tons weight, about 2' above the ground.'

Name Book 1850; ; F R Coles 1895; RCAHMS 1914, visited 1912.

There is no trace of this stone circle.
