Archaeology Notes

NX44SW 15 c. 44 40.

A number of Roman and Hiberno-Danish coins, found in Whithorn (NX 44 40) were exhibited in Glasgow in 1911 by L M Mann. M'Kerlie also records that Roman coins have been frequently dug up in the vicinity of Whithorn.
