A small ancient cairn, with a shepherd's pile on it. Traditionally, criminals were brought here for trial, hence the name.

Only a fragment remains of this large cairn, which is being rapidly removed.
RCAHMS 1912, visited 1911
NX 3026 5144 Situated on a rocky knoll the gras-covered remains of this cairn now measure 10.0m in diameter and 0.8m in height. There is a small modern cairn on its summit.
