OS 6" map (1957)
This perforated standing stone is a granite boulder 5' high with a circumference of 10ft near the centre. The perforation occurs 14" from the top and about the centre of the breadth and is formed by the connection of two opposing bowl-shaped depressions, about 9" wide and as many deep, by a channel 4in long.
This stone and another about 15 yards to the east, are traditionally said to have been associated with marriage ceremonies.
