Archaeology Notes

NX34NW 4 3362 4528.

There are cut stones in an old store room called the Clone Chawmer, at the farm steading of Low Clone (NX 336 452).

Information from W S Borthwick letter, 19 February 1951

NX 3362 4528 There is an outbuilding known as the 'Chamber' at Low Clone. It has a dressed stone doorframe that is clearly not contemporary and may well have come from Druchtag Castle (See NX34NW 6) (Mr Wallace, Low Clone, Port William)
