The remains of the former parish church, dedicated to St Michael and on record in 1236. It was abandoned in 1696 in favour of a new church at Dailly (NX2701). The ruined building measures 92 by 26ft and contains two burial vaults one, the northerly, being 17th century. The manse (NS25NW 2) lay to the north.

The walls of the church 3m in height and 0.9m in thickness, the gable ends being entire. In the north wall of the modern mausoleum incorporated within the east end of the church there is a built-up round-arched doorway, the only pre-Reformation architectural feature visible. A Martyrs' grave at NX 2255 9933 is a modern monument erected in 1835 to commemorate those who were shot in 1685.

Old Dailly, Old Parish Church and Burial-ground NX 225 993 NX29NW 1 & 2
The remains of the old parish church of Dailly stand in the burial-ground at Old Dailly and appear to be largely of 17th-century date, although the E end, subsequently used as a burial vault, is earlier and incorporates a 16th-century doorway. It was formerly known as the church of 'Saint Michael of Dalmaolkeran or Dalmakeran', but the name had changed to Dailly before the Reformation. On record in the early 13th century, it was replaced by a new church at Dailly (NS20SE 13) in 1696. There are no visible remains of the old manse which stood 180m to the NNW (NX 224 994).
