NX05SE 13 c. 092 520
An axe-hammer, 8" by 4" by 2 1/2" with a diameter of haft-hole 2" at the surface and 1 1/4" at the middle, with its centre 3 1/2" from the butt end was ploughed up in 1875 at Low Culgroat (NX 092 520). It is in the possession of Mr McIlwraith of the Dumfries Courier.
