Archaeology Notes

NT96SW 32 9081 6183 to 9116 6209

NT 908 618 to NT 911 620. Cropmarks reveal a pit-alignment which runs for about 400m from NE to SW across a gentle S-facing slope. Two parallel ditches, about 40m apart, which cross the pit-alignment at NT 909 619, are the boundary ditches of a former shelter-belt.
