NT 9400 5396. As stated above, this site overlooks the Whiteadder Water. There is no trace of any earthworks, nor any indications of one on air photographs.

Visited by OS (JLD), 13 January 1955.

No further information.

Visited by OS (WDJ), 11 August 1970.

The traces of ditches noted by the RCAHMS 1915 probably indicate the site of a fort occupying the level summit of this steep-sided promontory. Nothing can be seen on the ground.

RCAHMS 1980, visited 1979.
