OS 1:10,000 map (1976).

This is traditionally the site of a British Camp. It now appears as an oval track, nearly ploughed out. (Shown on OS 6"map, Berwickshire, 1st ed., 1858 as a dotted circle about 50m in diameter.)

Name Book 1856.

Listed by Hardy, 'on the summit of a swelling height'.

J Hardy 1856.

No remains were seen during field investigation in 1956 or 1965.

Visited by OS(CJP) 30 September 1956 and (RD) 22 December 1965.

Nothing can be seen of this enclosure, possibly a settlement.

RCAHMS 1980, visited 1979.
