Archaeology Notes

NT85SE 8 c 860 515.

A Late Bronze Age bronze ferrule for a spearshaft was found at Leetside on 28th July, 1886, 5' below the surface, in the field where there are traces of a camp (NT85SE 5) (c NT 860 515). It is in the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS: Accession no. DG 55).
