Archaeology Notes

NT85NW 20 801 557.

An ovoid flint scraper measuring 2 1/4ins in length and 1 7/8ins in breadth, finely dressed all round the periphery and ground smooth round the broader end, found on Ninewar (NT 801 557) was donated to the National Museum of Antiquities of Scotland (NMAS) in 1928 by J R Fortune, Airhouse, near Oxton (Accession no: AB 1573).
