Archaeology Notes

NT82SW 47 From 84656 21400 to 84655 21388

Indistinct traces of cord rig, visible as short stretches of closely spaced, ridging, are visible on a moderate E-facing slope to the W of Kip Knowe fort (NT82SW 8). The cultivation, which runs from N to S, lies only about 50m to the W of the outer extent of the fort and measures about 40m across.
