Two huts ('A' and 'B') lie within a contemporary field system well marked by stone clearance heaps, and some broken field walls (OS [RDL]). 'A' is 13.0m N-S by 11.5m between centres of a wall spread to 4.0m. The entrance is in the S.
'B' is 8.5m N-S by 7.5m between centres of a wall much depleted in the N arc. The entrance is in the S.

Visited by OS (R D L) 15 April 1964 and (J M) 15 April 1964.
A field bank, lying 75m to the W of a hut-circle, measuring 20m in diameter, was observed during a pre-afforestation survey by J Wordsworth. The two hut-circles, noted by the OS, lie outwith the proposed plantation.
