Towards the end of a low spur on the NE end of Windy Gyle and about 60m to the SW of another cairn (NT81NE 27), there is a cairn lying on a gentle to moderate slope above steep drop to the N and moderate to moderately steep descents on the S. The cairn measures about 12m in diameter and is 2m high. Material from the cairn has been disturbed, in two places, in attempts to form crude shelters and a metal rod has been inserted into the centre.
